Felix and Catherine's children
Their son Medard was born 18 October 1811 at Detroit. He was christened there on 7 November 1811 and buried on 18 November of that same year.
The next child was another son whom they named Francis Xavier. He too was born at Detroit on 22 May 1813 and christened at Assomption church in Sandwich. He married on 11 August 1834 in Detroit to Monica Campau daughter of Alexis and Agatha Chene Campau. A Francis Xavier Metty died on 24 March 1897 at Monroe, Michigan and was buried in St Patrick's cemetery at Carleton, Michigan. This is believed to be Felix's son.
The next child born to Felix and Catherine was named Isabella. She was born on 6 August 1815 at Detroit and was buried there on 19 August 1815.
The twelfth child, a daughter, was born 4 January 1817 at Detroit, Michigan, and named Elisabeth. In 1835 she married Francis Navarre at River Raisin. She married a second time to Oliver Ladue on 18 May 1864 at Monroe, Michigan.
The last two children born to this union were sons, the first of which was named Medard. He was born 9 December 1819 at River Raisin and died there on 21 October 1831. He was buried the next day.
The last child of Felix and Catherine was named John Baptist born 13 November 1823 at River Raisin. He too would die young, being buried on 8 January 1825 at River Raisin.
