Questions Re: Richard Metty (Felix, Joseph, Jaques)

I have information from Geneology of the French Families of the Detroit River Region 1701-1936, Vol. II of Richard Metty's marriage to Victoria Bissonet; I have her death as occuring prior to 1856 and that his 2nd marriage was to Rachel Knaggs.
Other research states Victoire Thibeaut, married Richard on 3 Oct. 1849 and died in 1855. His death notices state he was an upstanding citizen, so I don't think polygamy was happening (although who knows, stranger things have happened). So, does anyone know when Victoria Bissonet died, who Victoria Thibeaut was, and was Rachel Knaggs, then, Richard's 2nd or third wife? Or is this a mystery worth exploring??

Michael Raymond Metty, born in Michigan in 1962 joined the U. S. Navy in 1980 and after retirement from the Navy made his home the St Mary's/Kingsland Georgia area.  He died on 28 January 2013 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Mary's, Georgia.

Isaac Metty

So the reader may ask, who was this Isaac Metty who died in the service of his country! Isaac was the third of eight children born to the union of Isaias (Eli) and Mary Anne Beauregard. He was born on 7 November 1841 and baptized the following August 1842 at St. Mary's Church in Monroe, Michigan. He enlisted in Company K of the 7th Michigan Volunteers on 29 January 1864 at Monroe, Michigan for a term of three years. The company was mustered at Detroit on the following day. At the time of enlistment, Isaac was described as being 5'6" in height, fair complexion, with blue eyes and brown hair. His occupation is given as farmer. The Seventh was reassembled at the end of January 1864 and returned to its old camp at Barry's Hill. In May the regiment started on the long campaign which finally ended in the siege of Petersburg and the surrender of the army of northern Virginia. It was part of the famous Second Corps, and crossed the Rapidan at Ely's Ford on the 4th of May....

Frederic Hubert & Eugenie Archambault Metty

These are the parents of Arthur Prudence Metty. Frederic was born 20 April 1844 in the area commonly referred to as Frenchtown, Monroe County, Michigan. By 1865 he had migrated to Kankakee, Illinois where on 28 November of that year he married Eugenie Archambault. The 1876 Directory for Kankakee lists him as living on Washington Avenue and employed as a clerk. Seven of their eight children were born in Kankakee. In late 1884 or early 1885 they migrated to Minnesota where their eighth child was born on 18 August 1885 at Ghent, Lyon County. They lived in the Currie, MN community for about 25 years and then moved to Granum, Alberta, Canada where Eugenie died on 10 May 1918. She was born in 1844 in Montreal, Canada. Frederic died circa 10 December 1919 in Granum and that is where they are both buried.
