Descendants of Felix & Catherine LeMay Metty

Their first child, Anthony, was born in May 1796 at Detroit and was baptized there on 5 June 1796. He was listed among the voters on 4 September 1823 in an election for a Michigan Territorial Delegate to congress and for the territorial legislative council. On 18 December 1824 he received an appointment as Ensign in the Territorial Militia. On 31 May 1825 he is listed as Antoine Mettez, a taxpayer of Wayne county residing at Cote des poux. On that same day, he is again listed as a voter at the Council House, city of Detroit, in an election for delegate to congress.

On February 6, 1825, he and Mary Teresa Campau were united in marriage at Detroit. Mary was the daughter of John Baptist Campau and Josette Gamelin, born 9 December 1796, at Detroit. To this union were born the following children:
